Geodesy & Surveying

At the Danish Geodata Agency, the two dozen staff members of the Reference Networks are responsible for maintaining the groundwork for surveying and mapping Denmark. 

Their work includes definition and maintenance of the geodetic reference systems and map projections that are most useful for Denmark. They also generate and distribute programmes that can transform data from one reference system to another.

In addition to their work in Denmark, the Reference Networks staff also adminstrate reference data and systems for Greenland.
